URPP ITINERARE: Innovative Therapies in Rare Diseases – Challenges and Opportunities

There is large demand for innovative therapies for rare diseases as well as initiatives informing and sensitizing society. One the one hand, the URPP aims at driving such therapies forward. On the other hand, it will answer ethical-legal and pedagogical questions surrounding therapies of rare diseases. The Institute of Social Ethics is involved in the URPP with an own subproject on justice-aspects in research and therapy of rare diseases.

URPP Human Reproduction Reloaded

Reproduction is not a question of fate anymore, but rests upon deliberate decisions. The URPP «Human Reproduction Reloaded» researches into decisions on parenthood: it's legal, medical, and social conditions as well as consequences for individuals, family, society, and economy.
